 Note that we highly encourage applications by junior scientists (students, postdocs, and other young researchers who do not hold independent academic positions). For this reason will contributed talks be assigned exclusively to to junior scientists, and selected on a competitive basis. In addition, research can be presented in poster form.

Contingent to funding we expect to offer travel stipends on a competitive basis:

• Five junior scientists will receive “CBSB16 Outstanding Young Researcher” awards that include a 200$ travel fellowship.The awardees are expected to give a talk of the same length as the invited speakers (30 min).
• Five students/postdocs will be selected to receive a 100$  travel grant.
• The recipients  of the five “CBSB2016 Young Researcher Award” and  additional  student travel grants  will be notified on or shortly after  April 22nd. At the same time we will also notify all participants   selected to present contributed talks.
